FAQ

• When my order will be shipped?

Usually we need about 1-3 business days to get an order ready and ship it out. There are a few items that are made to order. Production time differs on them and takes about 5-7 business days. This may take slightly longer on larger orders. A confirmation email with tracking number will let you know your order is on its way.

• How do I maintain my framed insect?

Avoid extreme changes of temperature, high humidity and direct sunlight. Keep away from children.

• Do you do custom orders?


We are opened for custom orders. We can customise frame as well as decor and specimen. Describe us what you need - with clear details if possible (specimen, shape and colors of the frame) - and we'll happily handle the rest. Feel free to ask!

Please note that we don't do pet commissions. 

Deposit:

We will not start on a piece or begin ordering what I need for it until we have received a deposit of 20% of the quoted price. The second payment must be paid within two weeks of the first payment unless another arrangement has been discussed. Payment must be made in full before we will ship the finished piece out. The deposit is nonrefundable if you fail to make the second payment and the item will be posted for sale.

• How do you source your bugs?

All specimens used are legally acquired and responsibly sourced. We have a huge range of places and contacts that we get our insect supplies from.

Most of our specimens come from local breeders and insect breeding farms all over the world. These provide species conservation and people education. Strong breeding and releasing programmes support the habitats and enriching the environments. They euthanise a small percentage of the species they raise to sell as materials.
